Some Orphans In China Under Care Of Monks Visit Shaolin Temple In Their School Uniforms

These orphans in China, including a number of others, have been taken under the care of the Shaolin Temple and they have their special home in Dengfeng. On some days, groups of these orphans visit the Shaolin Temple, where they are well cared for and entertained in different ways, by Monks and students of the Temple. For many of them, having their photos taken was a special event, and whenever a camera came into view they craved to be the subject of the photo! They were a very happy group of youngsters, and had an appearance that it is reasonable to assume, was much improved to their state in earlier times. "
