I Am King Of The Castle Says School Gate Guardian In His School Uniform Standing On Pile Of Sand

When going to visit a school in Fujian we first had to satisfy the School Gate Guardian that our reasons for doing so were justified. It was one of the local people who took us to the school, and as he was a friend of the School Gate Guardian we entered without difficulty. The school yard was like a childrens playground rather than a school yard, having swings, roundabouts and slides, for the children to make use of during their free time. Perhaps it was a duty of the School Gate Guardian to protect the yard equipment as well as the school children themselves!
