There are Chinese grandmas in the China pics of Chinese people in Shanghai and Nanjing;
Chinese grandparents with young child on street near Yu Yuan Gardens, and a
Chinese Grandma enjoying a snack at the entrance to the Mausoleum of Doctor Sun Yatsen. The young Chinese child playing hide-and-seek with grandparents attracted the attention of many of the group members adding to their own collection of China pics of the Chinese people. The snack bar at the entrance to the Mausoleum in Nanjing, was one of many seen during the tour.

The tree lined boulevard shown in China pics of Chinese people led to the
Mausoleum of Doctor Sun Yatsen at Nanjing. The distance to the Mausoleum, viewed from the three arch gate at the entrance, was deceptive, but the view from the Mausoleum itself, was quite remarkable.
The China pics of the bridge over the Yangzte at Nanjing show three different views. A Chinese lorry with trailer is the first of the China pics as it crosses the
bridge over the Yangtze River at Nanjing. The second of the China pics is of
Chinese cargo
boats on the Yangtze river about to pass under the bridge itself. The third of the China pics of Chinese people is a view under the
supporting arches of the bridge towering above the Chinese people who are walking under them.
Another of the Chinese waterways we made use of was the Grand Canal between Suzhou and Wuxi. Some of the barge people are shown in the China pics of Chinese people, taken during the cruise. Whether they were on a
single barge on the canal or on a barge as
part of a barge-train being pulled by tugs, they were all very friendly. There were also
concrete hull boats on the canal which were propeled and steered by Chinese oarsmen
At the time of our visit to Xian it was not possible to take China pics of Chinese people in the Warrior Exhibition Hall but at least at the entrance to the Exhibition Hall a
Terra Cotta Warrior was on display, protected by a glass case.
